MOLO Gallery - a gentle extension of what MOLO Lipno already offers. The experience doesn’t end with exceptional dining or accommodation. It can go further. In paintings. In colours. In a moment of pause.
Why the Gallery Was Created
From the beginning, we knew we wanted to enrich the MOLO Lipno resort with something more. We longed to create a timeless and peaceful space, open to beauty – and at the same time, one that supports contemporary artists. The Gallery is not an afterthought; it’s a natural part of the whole. A place where visitors can encounter fine art at the highest level – and perhaps take away a new perspective on the world.

Exhibitions at the MOLO Gallery will rotate. We present contemporary artists whose works carry depth, personal expression, and the power of silence. Whether you come seeking art or simply a quiet moment in the bustle of the day, the gallery offers space for both.
Current Exhibition
A Selection of Works by Jakub Špaňhel
This exhibition presents a series of paintings that balance delicacy and rawness. At first glance, light motifs of flowers and butterfly wings conceal a deeper energy, weight, brushstroke – the presence of the painter.
Špaňhel’s paintings are not descriptive. They don’t lead the viewer in a single direction but open space for personal interpretation. Shapes leave room – silence – that everyone can fill in their own way. The works were selected over the past few years and are united by an ability to sense impermanence without needing to define it.
This exhibition doesn’t aim to explain. Rather, it offers a gentle disruption of the day’s rhythm. And perhaps an invitation to realise how many emotions can be found in a single gaze.

You can enter the gallery directly from Cafe du Lac. Simply speak to our staff – they’ll be happy to welcome you and offer you a quiet moment with art.

The gallery features contemporary Czech and international artists. Exhibitions change throughout the year at irregular intervals.
